Don Gizmo – #Test 1

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ( Don Gizmo is Fernando Magalhães, an instrumental / ambient project from Brazil. #Test 01 is the first Ep released by Fernando. This obviously goes as recommended. Nice ambient, simple keys, slightly glitchy and dark.

A little short… but I do like the simplistic feel of the sound behind “#Test 1″. hope we will get a chance to see a full LP soon ). ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Dunn’s compositions are fully rich in timbre, painterly, hopelessly romantic and haunting; balanced between a wash of pure sound and an ornate yet subtle dance of classical instrumentation.

Occupying a truly cinematic scope, these pieces can transport the listener from the deepest and most forgotten landscapes to the furthest recesses of time.

I’ve had a chance to listen to the this entire title on a 320rip and I have to say this is a call for ” Stars Of The Lid ” ~ ” Celer ” ~ ” Arvo Pärt ” ~ ” Cylon ” and likes fans.

With tracks that breaches 17mins length you bet ” Dunn’s ” is determined to take his listeners to the deepest and darkest abyss you could possibly imagine of.
