May McDonough – Spilt Milk

Certainly I hope you find an appeal within the breathy narrations of these songs, which for the most part, are not intended for the small and narrow.
These are grimy, jazz-bellied, shake-your-ass like-they-used-to-do tunes mixed with chest searing bittersweet mia copa spirituals, songs akin to dive bar piano-man confessions, eclipsed with the idling spirit of swamphouse soft shoe romps. all right, maybe that’s a tad grandiose, but food for thought…
~~~~~~~~~ ( Not necessarily the same but slightly Alina Orlova, Tori Amos, Portishead ~ Shannon Wright or shall I just say a cross between the four.
Strong vocals ~ amazing piano ~ sarcastic lyrics ~ depressing moods ~ dark-tunes. A rather intriguing listen which I’ ll strongly recommend. EXCELLENT FINISH. By all means see recommendations and have a go ). ~~~~~~~~~
