Owland [ 2008 ] debut album from the Spanish band The Big Sleep In Search Of Hades. The band derives its name from krautrock monsters Tangerine Dream’s song on album Stratosfear [ 1976 ]. The band describes itself as " a project of autoproduction and musical experimentation. The treatment of the sound as form of expression, without complexes, without chains. To move all the influences towards an alone slope. A crossing of perceptions and realities, a search with no final, infinite. The sound is inexhaustible and the pleasure is maximum ". The genre of the band is impossible to tag in one way: in different websites you’ll find " Experimental, Music-noir, Darkcore, Shoegze influence, Post-metal " or " jazz experimental metal postrock ambient avantgarde heavymetal " ….They share similarities with other bands as Espediciòn a las Estrellas, Shadowcast Sun, Shalabi Effect, Monday Eternal, Yeti Island, etc… On the myspace page the band adopts a bracket-rich acronym of their name, (((TBSISOH))) quite reminiscent of the SunnO))) brackets… The new EP, Pieces From Hostile Side, is out now. The band distributes its releases through a Spanish website, where they can be released for free although there is possibility to make a donation to support the band. ~~~~~~~~~ ( One hell of an experimental album I'd HIGHLY RECOMMEND to everyone. You can check their MySpace but a sound like this you most definitely require a crystal-like clarity sound. [ Ethos ] opens up with a 12mins track and this is the exact instant when you fall in love with the sound. GET IT, HEAR IT and LOVE IT. Review for Triad by Groundburst

GroundBurst is an instrumental rock trio whose sound strikes for the band’s kaleidoscopic approach and wide-open mindset. The band consists of Phil, Si, and Erik, respectively on guitars, bass & keys, and drums. These three talented musicians set out to create a lush, diverse and textural musical backdrop, borrowing from influences as diverse as electronic music, psychedelia, rock and even jazz with a minimalistic flair. Their recent release, “Triad” is an EP featuring 3 original compositions, as the title of the release might lead you to guess!
