Hailing from Israel [ AVALON ] sound are purely instrumentals focus on textures of ethereal guitar melodies alongside with various string arrangements. [ AVALON ] can be describe as an Israel version of Japanese [ MONO ] band. Their music are simply elegant with a sophisticated vibe that also drag along some powerful emotions and nostalgie.

Michael Yedid – Guitar
Aviv Perry – Drums
Noam Tal – Bass
Shai Livnat – Guitar
[ AVALON ] debut album [ Mountains Into Sun ] was released this year “2011″ and The band’s style of instrumental rock music is mainly influenced by the genres of experimental rock and shoegazing, as well as by both the classical, contemporary-classic, noise and minimalism.
[ AVALON ] sound is characterised by the lead and rhythm guitars of [ Michael Yedid ] and [ Shai Livnat ] respectively, both of whom make extensive use of reverb, distortion and delay effects. The band’s live performances are noted for their intensity, both in the playing and in the dynamics.
