[ MUSIC MEDITATIONS ].
When listening to Music Meditations you are listening to music in its virginal state. All ten tracks were “discovered” live – improvised and recorded with the use of looping pedals – “robot free” with no computer wizardry or overdubs. The result is a rare intimacy that captures a moment in time free of any after thoughts or additions. Each track is a meditation on patience, allowing, and the freedom of the flow state.
East Forest is a unique musical project by Portland Oregon based Trevor Oswalt, that combines 100% original field recordings with ethereal melodic soundscapes. East Forest pefornis widly in traditional and non-traditional venues like bath houses (see track #4 Common Ground), rustic farms, and even yoga events including Elena Brower of yoga with 10,000 people in Central Park fame. He has also collalxiarted recently with Deepak Chopra writing music for Chopra’s groundbreaking mind-body video game, “Leela”. [ more at httpliwww.EastForest.org ].
