[ Across The Waves ] are an Iranian Post-rock/metal Shoegaze band, formed in 2010 in Tehran. The band consists of Soheil Ershadi [ Lead guitar ], Farzad Maktabi [ Rhythm guitar ], Behzad Khadivi [ Bass guitar ] and Hadi Fayaz [ Drum kit ]. The band compose melodic bass guitar lines, and use of distortion and effects.

[ History ]...

Soheil Ershadi and Farzad Maktabi met in 2003 at school and 7 years later added Behz…ad Khadivi and Erfan Bokaei to their ranks, forming the band Across The Waves in the process. The band is named after their feelings about their songs.

[ Across The Waves ] influences come's from the pool of instrumental post-rock band such as [ Long Distance Calling ] ~ [ If These Trees Could Talk ] ~ [ Pg Lost ] ~ [ Maybeshewill ] ~ [ Mogwai ] ~ [ Mono ] ~ [ Heaven In Her Arms ] ~ [ Explosion In The sky ] and the likes... To date the band has released three records the first one being a single a single [ Childhood Memories ], 02nd [ A Gaze Into The Horizon ] and lastly [ War Ends, Misery Stays ] which is [ Across The Waves ] 1st proper full length album including 10 tracks and a duration of over an hour.
