In 1929 [ William Faulkner ] wrote on [ The Sound and the Fury ] in 2011 [ The Locomotive Sound Coporation ] does the same, BUT NOT WITH A PENCIL... Instead they've used guitars, bass and drums as their primary tools to carve their signature and to make their presence undeniably noticeable.

Going right from the roots of rock, The Locomotive Sound Corporation [ dirty mechanical/alternative rock ] from released their debut Self Title EP on July 11th. Recorded and mixed at Studio [ De La Souleuvre ] by Guyom Pavesi [ Dead Sea Lions, Die On Monday, The Prestige... ] and mastered at [ WWSM Studio ] by Alan Douches [ Converge ] ~ [ Mastodon ] ~ [ Headcharger... ], it will be available on digital "PAY WHAT YOU WANT" and will contain five songs of electric & dirty noise-garage rock'n'roll with burning groove, powerful mechanical riffs and intense vocals.

2011 - Western 2012 - We Surely End Somewhere

[ We Surely End Somewhere ]. The Locomotive Sound Corporation has decided to publish some of songs recorded this summer in a self-sufficiency condition in the Creuse for 15 days. It'snot an album, not an EP, not quite demos neither but just something a bit in-between all in fact, just a compendium of ideas at some point ... As a musical snapshot. It's called "We surely end somewhere," and we can listen and download for free through the band BandCamp page.

[ Western ] was release in 2011 as a single and [ We Surely End Somewhere ] is more of a rough session but totally loud and totally awesome. T.L.S.C his is simply ecstatic and certainly goes for fans of [ The Dead Weather ] ~ [ Sonic Youth ] ~ [ Deerhoof ] ~ [ Bellini ] ~ [ Caddywhompus ] ~ [ Lightning Bolt ] ~ [ HEALTH ] ~ [ Tangled Thoughts Of Leaving ] ~ [ The Yeah Yeah Yeahs ] and the likes.

Review of "Burial Songs" by Palehorse/Palerider

In order to excel in the independent music industry, an act has to define itself as especially unique with a sound quite unlike anything else in the community. This is a tall order, one that isn’t easily filled by acts entering variations of rock music due to the immense amount of bands flooding the scene right now. Palehorse/Palerider, a “doomgaze” trio from Denver, has released an EP entitled ‘Burial Songs’ that does a surprisingly superb job at separating itself from the pack. Let’s delve into it.

Review for "I Want to Stand Where the Sun Himself Shakes with Fear" by Voices from Deep Below

Even though the independent rock scene is quite inundated with new acts, there’s always a welcome place for an outfit that changes the formula enough to be consistently interesting and worth taking notice of. The New York-based alternative rock group Voices from Deep Below attempts to do just that, fusing together a variety of styles into a surprisingly coherent sound. Their new record, “I Want to Stand Where the Sun Himself Shakes with Fear”, is a five song album that navigates alt-rock, experimental, and borderline metal and progressive influences all at the same time.
