"Blank Frames" is the second EP from industrial/Electronic duo Chelsey and the Noise. Hayward, CA (US) based duo Chelsey and the Noise find their strength in contradictions. Pairing heavy synths and distorted guitars with catchy melodies and heartfelt vocals to create a sound both intense and playful. The instrumentation is chaotic yet controlled, pierced by moments of atmospheric vulnerability in an attempt to find beauty among the mayhem. This dichotomy is pushed further by the themes explored in their latest release Blank Frames. An album as much about the pain of loss as it is about the exultation in starting over. Lyrically teetering between self-confidence and self-doubt while ultimately finding the strength to rebuild what was destroyed. Though it’s easy to find the darkness in this music, the album is ultimately a work of optimism and a celebration of human resilience.
Hesperian Death Horse is an avant-garde black/sludge/post-metal band playing in Zagreb, Croatia since 2012. HDH is a narrator of psychedelic, nihilistic poetry that sings a saga of the birth, life and death of every being, each stage envisioned as a separate album forming a trilogy, after which, the band will have concluded the saga and will not create any further music. The saga will be told in the order of death, life and birth. Death was the theme of their first album ‘Mrtav’ (Croatian for the word ‘Dead’), released in 2013 by Play The Assasin Records. Life is the theme of their newest, second album ‘Ziv’ (Croatian for the word ‘Alive’), released now. Birth will be the theme of the last part of the trilogy, and the band’s last album, ‘Rodjen’ (Croatian for the word ‘Born’), will see the light of day in late 2020.
Life is the theme of their newest, full-length album ‘Ziv’ (Croatian for the word ‘Alive’), the second of a planned trilogy of releases, recorded in reverse order encompassing the human life cycle. The 4 part / 30 minute ‘Ziv’ is avant-garde black music with nihilistic poetry.

It was recorded and mixed by Hrvoje Niksic, and mastered by James Kelly (Altar of Plagues/Wife). Artwork by Snjezana Mekic Delic.

Iyari is a project of Josep Mateo, member of Karta Atma, Rebery and Silveryarn, apart from other instrumental music projects and experimental like Soundreamer Days and Leth. His music is based on improvisation with guitar. He tries to capture the magic of the moment and explore new paths towards what unknown. These sounds are part of our trip, and they are waiting for us for when we need them most. With his themes he tries to return to this original point of connection where all the sounds flow and you can perceive the second music, everything is recorded in a single track; mistakes and indecisions are also part of the magic of moment. His first album "Sura" was recorded in June 2016 presenting a collection of improvisations with guitar where total freedom is the common denominator of sound, in communion with total anarchy in terms of structures and construction of the songs. In October of the same year, "Sons de Tardor" appeared and shows a certain evolution in to sound and Josep's constant search for new paths to express himself through his guitar, he brings to us eight improvisations that explain a story among all of them. In 2017 Iyari starts performing live with concerts in Ronda Barcelona and the Experimental Music Festival of Barcelona (LEM Festival) where Josep elaborates a presentation of his songs incorporating other elements such as loop pedals, drum machines and visual support with projections. In this 2018 he edits "Ostara" which is a step forward in his career recording the whole album with a loop pedal and using the effects to create hypnotic environments, other landscaping, but always looking for beauty and the mystery with its six strings.
“The river that everything drags is known as violent, but nobody calls violent the margins that arrest her.”
This quote from Bertolt Brecht is the best way to portray FLEUVE, the devastating new album of belgian outfit THOT. After a decade of challenging its music across several albums, EPs, videos, alternative versions, remixes and european tours, the gang lead by Grégoire Fray is going to bring a breath of fresh air in the industrial-rock and post-rock genres. Produced by Magnus Lindberg (Cult of Luna) and engineered in live circumstances, FLEUVE features 9 songs built around a powerful drums/bass/guitar trio, on which passionate vocals, heavy synths, clarinet laments and bulgarian choirs melt together perfectly. Thereby, FLEUVE is a luminous ode to the european continent and its cultural history, to nature’s immuable inspiration, to women and transcendance.

A combination of retro aesthetics, enduring lyrics and alt-rock grit.
The best music happens when artists refuse to remain stuck in their own comfort zones and creative boxes. Whenever this happens, they are free to give full range to their vision, and they can really come up with something that’s groundbreaking and personable. This is certainly the case here with Tommy Red and his brand new EP release, “I Wanna Be Exploited.”
